Pop Photo Magazine would like to know
Summary: Photos that have made a difference
Category: General
Name: Lori Fredrickson
Email: lfredrickson@hfmus.com
Title: Editor
Deadline: 5:00 PM EASTERN – December 11
Query:
“I am in search of photographers or photographs that have created a
positive change. This could be on a social level: if for example a
photographer’s work on an issue (environmental, social) affected a
change in town or city legislature. This could also be on an
individual level: if someone’s photojournalism touched a reader and
prompted him/her to get involved in a charitable project or donate
to an NGO. These can be famous photographs or they can be photos
from a small local newspaper.
Any info at all is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!”

Kodak Easy Share Digital Camera
I just came across this listing on eBay – this seller has a batch of these Easy Share Cameras for sale.
I don’t know anything about the seller, but the camera is priced to sell. Be sure to check out their feedback and ask them questions before purchasing.
It’s not a new model camera, but with 6 megapixels it will work for Internet use and emailing photos to friends.
I’m thinking of picking one up to keep in my bike bag for bicycling or to keep one in the car for emergencies.
The normal price for a new Easy Share Camera is around $125. to 170. so at a little over 75.00 total this camera is worth checking out.

Simulataneous Photos From Around the World – Take Part In It on 08/08/08
World Wide Moment is a photography project which aims to let people around the world participate in a simultaneous moment of peace. The concept is for people to take photographs simultaneously in celebration of this event. The ultimate goal for World Wide Moment is two parts. 1) To prove that peace is possible around the world, even for one moment. 2) To display and expose everyone’s images and stores from the moment in galleries and online displays in order to create an international discussion, community, and hopefully intiate a positive change through the art of Photography.
