Thanks for asking. That photo was taken around this time last year from the U District. It was from the 70yh street overpass. I used a telephoto lens which compresses distance and makes the skyline look closer.

So, I am curious where the time exposed picture of the Seattle skyline with traffic lights was taken. This is on your puget sound photos page, 2nd to the last picture on the 1st page. I just can’t think of the place where you can take a picture that close to downtown and it has signs for the university and airport in the same frame.

Thanks for the correction – LOL – Coupleville, well it seems like a nice place for a romantic couple to visit.

My typing and geography skills – sometimes just not up to snuff

But I certainly enjoyed my visit to Coupeville and can hardly wait to return.

Hi : Just thought you should know the name of the town is COUPEVILLE, not COUPLEVILLE. Although I’m sure they are happy to have couples visit! And no, you won’t be able to see Mount Hood from Coupeville, as it’s in Oregon. The mountain you’re looking at in the Cascades is Mount Baker. Also, it’s Penn Cove, famous for Penn Cove mussels. I’m in the same dilemma. I’m shooting with a XTi but want to upgrade to a X0D model. I’m leaning more towards the 40D, and then grab the 60D when the 70D comes out. But I’d wait to grab the 40D until the 50D comes out because we’ll see a bigger price drop in the 40D.
