Thanks for asking. That photo was taken around this time last year from the U District. It was from the 70yh street overpass. I used a telephoto lens which compresses distance and makes the skyline look closer.

So, I am curious where the time exposed picture of the Seattle skyline with traffic lights was taken. This is on your puget sound photos page, 2nd to the last picture on the 1st page. I just can’t think of the place where you can take a picture that close to downtown and it has signs for the university and airport in the same frame.

Thanks for the correction – LOL – Coupleville, well it seems like a nice place for a romantic couple to visit.

But I certainly enjoyed my visit to Coupeville and can hardly wait to return.

Hi : Just thought you should know the name of the town is COUPEVILLE, not COUPLEVILLE. Although I’m sure they are happy to have couples visit! And no, you won’t be able to see Mount Hood from Coupeville, as it’s in Oregon. The mountain you’re looking at in the Cascades is Mount Baker. Also, it’s Penn Cove, famous for Penn Cove mussels.
